A hearing-impaired woman named Mamata Begum (40) was killed by a train while collecting dry leaves for cooking at Patgram in Lalmonirhat.

The accident took place on Wednesday (April 24) in Harisva area of ​​Dhabalsuti village of Patgram upazila.

The deceased Mamata Begum is the wife of the deceased Badir Uddin of Harisva area of ​​ward number 5 of that union.

Lalmonirhat Railway (GRP) Police Inspector (OC) Ferdous Ali told Jago News, ‘I went to the spot. Talked with locals there. Necessary action will be taken.’
