As you know, on February 6, a series of earthquakes were recorded in various regions of Turkey, resulting in numerous casualties. The Red Hearts Fund created by Kapital Bank to support the victims of the terrible natural disaster “Let’s be a heart for Turkey!” started the fundraising campaign.

As a continuation of this action, a mutual cooperation memorandum was signed between “Red Hearts” Foundation and “Ahbap Derneği”. Sevda Hagverdiyeva and Yusif Poladov, members of the board of directors of the “Red Hearts” Foundation, as well as members of the board of “Ahbap Derneği” Haluk Levent and Hüseyin Küçük participated in the signing ceremony.

Speaking before the signing of the memorandum of cooperation, the president of the foundation, Sevda Hagverdiyeva, spoke about the “Let’s be a heart for Turkey” campaign in order to support the victims of the earthquake in Turkey. More than 600,000 manats collected by more than 26,000 donors within 10 days will be donated to “Ahbap Derneği”.

Speaking later, Haluk Levent spoke about the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood. He expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan for the support and humanitarian aid provided during this period, to the foundation for starting this action, and to all the people of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that within the framework of the memorandum, it is planned to implement public and socially important joint projects, take measures to care for the population suffering during an earthquake or other natural disaster, and organize joint charity projects.

“Red hearts” was established in 2019 by the initiative of Kapital Bank’s volunteer employees.
