However, since the pandemic, there has been a parallel wave of HIV, influenza and COVID-19 around the world. In such conditions, without an accurate diagnosis, self-treatment cannot be done.
Publika.az reports, Russian doctor Alexander Lavryshov said this while talking about the famous mistakes made during a cold.
One of the first mistakes doctors make is fear or mistrust of vaccines. The doctor noted that the vaccine does not cure, it only strengthens the immune system, and this procedure can be performed at any time.
Lavryshev further emphasized that today there is no universal antiviral medicine for colds.
“There are separate medicines for flu and coronavirus. However, these preparations do not destroy all viruses, but fight against specific viruses,” explained the therapist.
The doctor also urged not to take antibiotics without a blood test and doctor’s prescription, especially for prevention.
In addition, in the case of general weakness, it is forbidden to tolerate high fever.
In the end, Lavrishov pointed out another mistake made during a cold.
“Pregnant women often do not take medicine due to the myth that it will harm the baby. However, today there are many drugs that pregnant women can take against CVD,” he concluded. (oku.az)
