20% Toll Tariff Discount Valid April 17-19 2024, What will be the impact on the return flow for Eid 2024?

JAKARTA – A number of Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) are again offering discounts toll rates to distribute traffic flow over periods return flow for Eid 2024 . Several toll road sections will provide rate discount for toll roads on Java and Sumatra, starting tomorrow, Wednesday 17 April 2024.

Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Basuki Hadimuljono hopes that by providing discounts on toll rates plus the WFH policy for civil servants, he can extend the return flow period so that traffic can be distributed properly.

“Then if this discount is now there will be a discount (valid tomorrow), there will be WFH and then there will be a discount. The aim is to spread out homecoming travelers. Hopefully there will be an impact,” said Minister Basuki after the PUPR Ministry’s Halal bihalal, Tuesday (16/4/ 2024).

For information, Jasa Marga will provide toll incentives in the form of a 20% toll rate discount, valid from 17 April 2023 at 05.00 WIB to 19 April 2023 at 05.00 WIB. This discount applies to continuous travel from Semarang to Jakarta, for transactions at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate to the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate.

Apart from that, Astra Infra also provides a discount on toll rates for the same period of 20% which applies to all vehicle classes. The discount applies to all vehicle classes, which cross the Tangerang – Merak, Cikopo – Palimanan, and Jombang – Mojokerto toll roads continuously (gate to gate) and for toll transactions using an electronic money card with sufficient balance.

Then PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (Hutama Karya) again applied a 20% discount on 3 sections of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), namely the Terbanggi Besar – Pematang Panggang – Kayu Agung (Terpeka) Toll Road (189 km), Indralaya – Prabumulih (Indraprabu) Toll Road. ) (64.5 Km) and the Pekanbaru – Dumai Toll Road (131 Km).

Executive Vice President (EVP) Hutama Karya Corporate Secretary Adjib Al Hakim said that the application of the return rate discount was still in accordance with the information submitted by the company at the start of the 2024 homecoming flow period.

“During the Eid backflow period, the official fare discount applies from April 17 2024 at 05.00 WIB to April 19 2024 at 05.00 WIB, with the same rate as the homecoming flow,” concluded Adjib.
