With 11 medals including 3 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze, Madagascar remains in the top 10. During the day yesterday, a new silver medal was won by the delegation. In weightlifting, the two Malagasy weight lifters who entered the competition yesterday could not do better against their opponents. They are Havotrinaina Rakotomandimby (-67 kg) and Jules Anthonio Andriamahefa (-73 kg). Havotra finished last in his category and Mahefa finished just off the podium. It was the Nigerian, Edidiong Umoafia (-67 kg) and the Algerian, Samir Fardjallah (-71kg) who achieved a hat-trick. Today, it is the turn of Sarah Rakotoharisoa (-71kg) and Ravo Cadeau Fanomezantsoa (-81kg) to enter the stage.
