Yemen – Yemeni sources announced, yesterday, Sunday, that civilians had been killed and wounded in the recent American-British raids on a number of Yemeni governorates..

This came in a statement issued by the Ministry of Human Rights in the Houthi government (not internationally recognized).

The statement condemned in the strongest terms “the criminal attack launched by the American-British aggression aircraft on the capital, Sana’a, and a number of governorates, with more than 15 raids.”

He explained that these raids caused civilian deaths and injuries (without mentioning their number).

There was no immediate comment from Washington or London on the Houthi statement until 10:00 (UTG).

On Friday night – Saturday, the Houthi group announced that the capital, Sanaa (north), and Hodeidah Governorate (west) were subjected to a series of American-British raids, without talk of losses.

“In solidarity with Gaza,” which is facing a devastating Israeli war with American support, the Houthis targeted, with missiles and drones, Israeli cargo ships or those linked to them in the Red Sea, stressing their determination to continue their operations until the end of the war on the Strip.

Since the beginning of this year, the Washington-led coalition has launched raids that it says target “Houthi sites” in various regions of Yemen, in response to their attacks in the Red Sea, which was met with a response from the group from time to time.

With the intervention of Washington and London and the tensions taking a noticeable escalation last January, Al-Houthi announced that it now considered all American and British ships among its military targets.
