Regarding storms, a yellow alert is in effect for the province of Entre Ríos. According to the agency, “the area will be affected by isolated storms, some locally strong. “They may be accompanied by intense gusts, significant electrical activity, occasional hail and abundant falls of water in short periods.” Heavy rainfall could occur until midday tomorrow.

In turn, the SMN announced a yellow level alert for the mountain areas of Catamarca and Mendoza due to winds from the western sector with speeds between 50 and 70 kilometers per hour, and gusts that could reach 90 kilometers per hour during the afternoon. The agency recommended that residents of towns under alert secure items that could fly away, avoid outdoor activities, stay away from trees and not park their vehicles under them, as a branch could break.
