Xóchitl Gálvez and Taboada accuse that Morena distributes letters with misinformation about social programs

MEXICO CITY (apro).- The presidential candidate of the PAN-PRI-PRD, Xóchitl Gálvez, and her counterpart for the Head of Government, Santiago Taboada, accused that Morena “wants to deceive” the voters with the delivery to homes of a letter that assures that the opposition will remove social programs.

This Tuesday, the candidate to govern the country shared on her the Head of Government of the same party, Clara Brugada.

The document reads: “You should not be fooled, if Xóchitl or Taboada wins, they will continue to protect those at the top and their families, friends and partners (…) it is false that they will maintain the pension, support for people with disabilities, scholarships, and they are not going to guarantee free public health and education.”

After they show the letter during the recording, Xóchitl Gálvez accuses: “Morena is beginning to distribute this letter in the houses of Mexico City to make you believe that we are the bad guys in the story. “They want to deceive you by telling you that we are going to eliminate social programs.”

The Alliance presidential candidate is forceful when mentioning: “Let’s be clear, Morena is leaving, social support is staying.”

In the video, he adds: “The pension for older adults remains and will be from the age of 60, the support for young people and people with disabilities remains.”

To support Gálvez’s speech, the candidate Santiago Taboada adds: “We want to tell you not to be afraid, we tell you very clearly, the support and social programs that are currently in place remain, we are going to maintain them and improve them.”
