The move aims to enrich the user experience by enabling sharing of detailed, long-form content. This strategic growth aligns with the platform’s growth, especially amid speculation of upcoming stricter regulations under the EU’s Digital Markets Act. Under Musk’s leadership, X continues to innovate, with articles highlighting the latest developments.

Articles represent an important expansion for X, providing a canvas for users to express themselves beyond the constraints of short tweets. According to the platform’s announcement, the feature supports a rich mix of media, including elaborately formatted text as well as images, videos, GIFs, and links.

Users can use text formatting tools such as headings, emphasis (bold, italic, strikethrough), lists, and indentation to create engaging content. Additionally, an audience control option is available, which ensures that authors can set the visibility of their work.

1. Starting a new article: Access the Articles feature from the side navigation menu and click “Compose” to start your draft.

2. Publishing your article: Once your draft is complete, select “Done” to publish it in the Articles section of your X profile.

Modifying articles on X: steps to edit and delete

1. Editing an article: Find the article under the Articles section, click the 3-dot menu, and select “Edit Article.” After confirmation, the article will be temporarily unpublished for revision. Republish after finalizing edits.

2. Deleting an article: To delete an article, select it from the Articles section, use the 3-dot menu, and select “Delete” to permanently erase it from your profile.
