Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) new vice-chancellor Dr. Din Mohammad Nurul Haque will take charge today. He was announced on March 11. Since then there was commotion in BSMMU. But today Thursday (March 28) a completely different picture was seen.
Officers and employees at various levels of the institution are waiting to welcome the new Vice-Chancellor. They have taken up positions on the ground floor, stairs and front spaces of the administrative building. There has been a rush as to who will be welcomed first. As a result, confusion has been created.
It can also be seen on the ground, workers are waiting in line with flowers in front of gate number two of the university and the administrative building to welcome the new vice-chancellor. Some of the workers are playing drums. The entire university is in a festive mood.

Before this, a group of doctors of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) engaged in tension with the outgoing vice-chancellor for a few days. Meanwhile, on Saturday, a few doctors were beaten up by the Vice-Chancellor and the syndicate meeting led to a slow situation. In view of this, additional police were deployed in the university to avoid gatherings and any disorder.
