The political leadership of the Ministry of Health has left the largest nursing institution of northwestern Greece, the University Hospital of Ioannina, with a large administrative vacuum, as it has not taken care not only to fill the position of the administrator, but also to extend the term of the deputy administrator Konstantinos Dinalexis .

This is how the Director of the Medical Service, Professor Spyros Voulgaris, has found himself performing the duties of Governor at the University Hospital of Ioannina.

As is known, Governor Nikos Katsakioris submitted his resignation at the end of the year as he was appointed Deputy Governor in Western Greece.

For about two months, the Deputy Governor was the one who replaced him, but the term ended with the renewal of this term being “stuck” in procedural and bureaucratic issues.

Thus, the Director of the Medical Service is asked to carry the administrative burden, which is not easy, nor can it last for long.

The political leadership of the Ministry of Health was probably caught unawares in this case, leaving a huge void in the largest hospital of Northwest Greece.
