Will Microsoft decide to release games for PS5 and Nintendo Switch? Hi-Fi Rush is just the beginning

After the recent news about Hi-Fi Rush, the topic of exclusivity and Microsoft’s activities returns. Does the Xbox manufacturer intend to change tactics slightly and release some of its productions on other platforms? Jez Corden points out that yes…

A few days ago, rumors spread that one of Xbox Studios’ latest exclusive games, Hi-Fi Rush, would be coming to Nintendo hardware. Switch players will likely be able to check out Chai and his team’s crazy, fast-paced adventure, which has been enthusiastically received. It is possible, however, that this is not the only title that the Redmond giant could make available to a wider audience.

In a recent article, Jez Corden of Windows Central suggests as much Xbox may be planning to deliver some production to PS5 and Nintendo Switch: the Americans are reportedly “examining the possibility of transferring some of their exceptional products to other platforms”. The journalist received this type of information from very reliable and proven sources.

For now, however, we cannot expect any details because they are “unclear and unconfirmed”, so it is not known what exactly Microsoft’s policy will be and which titles are being talked about. The rhythm game Tango Gameworks is a relatively new title and, after the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the catalog of the American giant included many brands, including older ones, whose updates or new projects would certainly have gained acclaim not only among the communities Xbox or PC.

We remember that in December there was talk of the release of As Dusk Falls, an evocative interactive story published by Xbox Game Studios, which will debut on PS5 and PS4 in March.
