While serving his sentence, Trang “Nemo” is still livestreaming selling clothes

On Facebook, there are still many livestreams selling clothes from Page ‘Nemo’, even though this person is serving a prison sentence.

On March 8, Nguyen Xuan Huong Trang (also known as “Nemo” Trang) served a 9-month prison sentence for disturbing public order. However, after that, this person still livestreamed online sales on Facebook. In fact, the above content is a pre-recorded image, replayed after “Nemo” Trang served his prison sentence.

Specifically, Nguyen Xuan Huong Trang still appears on fanpages Trang Nemo – Beauty, Trang Nemo Style, TNM Style after March 8. This character’s image is posted along with a product description and a call to purchase.

Every day, 2-3 live broadcast sessions appear on the above fanpage. Besides Nguyen Xuan Huong Trang, there are still other people selling clothes livestream. Every time a customer comments, the shop owner’s account immediately responds and closes the order.

The fact that a person who is serving a prison sentence still livestreams on Facebook makes many users question it. Because live streaming is a form of real-time content transmission on platforms.

“I heard that Trang ‘Nemo’ has gone to serve his sentence. But when I open Facebook, I still see this girl livestreaming, responding to customers, and calling for orders to be closed directly. I don’t know if this person has actually gone to prison yet,” shared Huong Giang, an office worker, living in Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh City. Many customers watching Nguyen Xuan Huong Trang’s broadcasts after March 8 also raised similar questions.

Responding to questions from viewers, the live Facebook page said “Nemo” Page was serving a prison sentence. A broadcast is essentially pre-existing content, stored for replay.

Because it is an old video, characters in the livestream cannot interact in real time with commenting customers. This person fulfills requests, answers irrelevant questions. Customer support and order closing are done by fanpage administrators.

Exchange with Knowledge – Znews, Mr. Mai Thanh Phu, Marketing specialist, administrator of many large fanpages in Vietnam, said that pre-recorded livestream playback is very popular in online sales on social networks. The advantage of this solution is that it saves many hours of live streaming effort. However, shop owners cannot interact in real time with buyers.

In the case of the “Nemo” Page, users also face the risk of buying fake goods and being scammed. Because the above livestream sessions are all replays, when the characters on them are serving prison sentences. Therefore, many fake sites can use this trick to commit fraud that is difficult for viewers to detect.

Znews Contacted Trang Nemo store to verify that the fanpages using Nguyen Xuan Huong Trang’s image to livestream are the real owner. However, this unit refused to answer.

Previously, Trang “Nemo” filed an application to postpone the execution of her sentence for the reason of pregnancy. Next, Nguyen Xuan Huong Trang changed the reason to being the main worker in the family.

After reviewing the file, the People’s Court of District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, did not accept it. At the same time, the court issued a decision to execute the sentence against Trang. After 10 days of receiving the decision to execute the sentence, Trang “Nemo” went to execute the sentence at the district police detention house in Ho Chi Minh City.
