The date of Indian Lok Sabha elections has not been announced yet. However, recently actress and Member of Parliament Mimi Chakraborty met party leader Mamata Banerjee seeking to resign from the post of Trinamool MP from Jadavpur.

Mimi is primarily known to the common people as an actress. Remembering that, he said, “I feel that now the work pressure has increased a lot. So I think acting should be given more priority.”

Earlier, on February 15, Mimi went to the Legislative Assembly and met Chief Minister Mamata. After meeting Mamata, he said, ‘I believe, politics is not for me. Because, if you do politics, people get license to abuse people like me. I have never knowingly harmed anyone in my life.’
At the same time, his comment was, ‘I am not a politician. I will never be a politician. I have always wanted to work for people as an activist. I have never spoken ill of anyone from the other party.’
Mimi will start shooting for a new movie next month. Rumors in Tollywood, the movie is Bangladeshi. There will be actor Shakib Khan opposite Mimi. Although Mimi does not want to give any information in this regard for now.
