It’s been 19 years since the dissolution of “Mambrú”, the band that emerged in 2002 after winning the second season of the reality show “Popstars” in Argentina. Made up of Pablo Silberberg, German “Tripa” Tripel, Milton Amadeo, Emanuel Star y Geronimo Rauchthe group achieved dizzying success with thousands of fans, filling theaters and touring several countries. Germán “Tripa” Tripel: music, acting and musicals
Germán Tripel, better known as “Tripa,” found his way into the entertainment world by merging his two passions: music and acting. In 2008, he released his solo album, “Push!,” and often sings alongside his partner, Flower OteroHe has also worked as an actor in various Argentine soap operas and programs such as “Violetta,” “Soy Luna,” “Solamente Vos” and “Millennials.” He also participated in national films such as “El desafio” and “Los bastardos.” Currently, “Tripa” shines in the musical “School of Rock,” showing his versatility as an artist.
Pablo Silberberg: From “Mambrú” to “Immigrants”
After the dissolution of “Mambrú,” Pablo Silberberg joined his brother Carlos to form the rock band “Inmigrantes” in 2004. For years, they toured the country and kept their passion for music alive. Although they slowed down their performances a bit, in 2021 they released their latest album. The band is still active, and Pablo continues to work on new projects.
Milton Amadeo: new musical projects
Milton Amadeo, after “Mambrú,” decided to stay in the music field and currently forms a duo with Martín Scalisewith whom they play in different places, such as the Espacio Cultural Borges. Their love for music has not stopped, and they continue exploring new artistic and creative facets.
Emanuel Ntaka: A music producer in the shadows
Emanuel Ntaka also released a solo album, titled “No pares,” after the group’s dissolution. However, he discovered that his true passion was behind the scenes, in music production. Currently, Ntaka keeps a low profile, concentrating on his work as a producer, away from the spotlight and fame.
Gerónimo Rauch: a talent in international musicals
Gerónimo Rauch settled in Spain, where he found his place in musical theater. He participated in renowned productions such as “Les Miserables,” “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Chicago.” In 2018, he released his solo album, “Porque yo te amo,” consolidating himself as a reference in the musical genre.
