Wendy Guevara answers what is the key to winning La Casa de los Famosos

Look: Now that you have such a large platform, taking into account what happened to you with Madonna, what is the message you want to give to trans girls in Latin America?

WG: It is appreciated, for example, Madonna did this, her team looked for me, and I say: ‘what a great thing that they give us girls from the trans community more visibility’, but also these programs, La Casa de los Famosos, Colombia and México , but also the invitations from characters like her, the queen of pop, and these types of programs, which give trans girls the opportunity to be on such a famous reality show. I think that little by little we are doing our bit and that is cool, that we are visualizing ourselves. Seriously girls, if you like them, you can start on your social networks, I have friends who are starting on the networks and they are doing very well and I like that because the important thing is that sometimes many of us prohibit ourselves or we have a complex. society, but you already saw that if I could do it, so could you.

Look: Tell us more about what that moment was like when you went on stage with Madonna.

WG: First they told me, we’re not going to learn air conditioning because Madonna doesn’t like it because of her voice, so I said: ‘it’s okay, mother, whatever you want, I’m going to get on.’ They gave me a dressing room, with drinks, food, various things. When I went up I lost control and Madonna pushed me to sit me down, she told me things, but I don’t know how to speak English, I said: ‘I’m just going with my presence, I’m not going to speak or chat’, so I said well, let’s go. Let’s go to a cafe. But the truth is she treated me very well and she was also nice, when I went up she hugged me.

Look: What dreams do you have and what do you think you still need to achieve?

WG: I think there is still a lot to achieve, many things have happened to me that I didn’t even expect. I believe that I have already accomplished everything I have wanted and have bought for myself, thanks to the people, thanks to the public, the thing is that I have a job. There are still many things, but I prefer not to tell them.
