‘We improve working conditions’; López Obrador lists achievements

One month before the presidential elections, the president Andrés Manuel López Obradorassured that his government fulfilled the mission of improving the conditions of the working class in the country.

He stressed that the actions to reverse the lags in labor matters and the anti-worker maneuvers of past governments “were not ideas” of a single person or a group of leaders, but were carried out with the support of the working class.

He also thanked the workers’ unions for their support in pushing for improvements in the employment situation of millions of workers.

For his part, the leader of the Mining Union, Napoleón Gómez Urrutia, highlighted that during the López Obrador government “there has been no persecution directed towards workers or union leaders,” unlike other governments.

Meanwhile, Reyes Soberanis Moreno, president of the Labor Congress, assured that the President is an ally of the workers due to his labor policies; However, he took the opportunity to express a concern regarding security.
