Actress Veronika Žilková she recalled the days when her years were inextricably bound up with visits to hospitals for her children’s health problems. This year, however, she decided to continue this tradition by visiting the ENT emergency in Jičín.
“Someone regularly visits castles and chateaux during the holidays, and I, on the other hand, visit emergency rooms,” remarked Žilková with humor. “When the kids were little, every time someone got an earache or broke their nose on a bike on vacation. The children have grown up, they are already taking care of themselves. But tradition is tradition and must be kept, apparently.”
At the emergency room in Jičín, Veronika received a quick ear treatment and an injection, after which she felt much better. Instead of the fairy-tale characters she hoped to meet in Jičín, she allegedly met only professional doctors. “Manka wasn’t there because it wasn’t Monkey Business (phonetically Manky business),” her son Cyril joked, according to her.
Veronika Žilková ended her post on a grateful note: “I wish everyone good health and a peaceful summer. Many thanks to all the doctors and nurses for their excellent care.”
In addition to visits to the emergency room, Veronika Žilková enjoys summer trips around Bohemia. However, her main activity remains the reconstruction of the family house in Suchdol, where she decided to redo the bathroom after twenty-five years.
