JAKARTA – PT Pertamina (Persero) has set the price of fuel oil ( BBM ) as of April 2024. This decision applies to Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Green 95, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex fuels.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting said that price determination had gone through periodic evaluations referring to the price determination formula in accordance with ESDM Ministerial Decree No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 concerning the formulation of prices for JBU or non-subsidized fuel.
“The price of non-subsidized fuel is something that is evaluated periodically, price adjustments up, price adjustments down, or fixed prices are considered by all business entities in accordance with applicable regulations,” said Irto.
As for the current prices, Pertamax is Rp. 12,950 per liter, Pertamax Green 95 is Rp. 13,900 per liter, Pertamax Turbo is Rp. 14,400 per liter, Dexlite is Rp. 14,550 per liter, and Pertamina Dex is Rp. 15,100 per liter. This price applies to Java and areas with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5%.
He added, for Pertamina, this decision is a form of maintaining the best and most affordable non-subsidized fuel price stability for people in remote areas of the country, not just big cities.
“This is a form of distribution and supply of fuel based on the principles of Availability, Accessibility, Affordability, Acceptability and Sustainability, how Pertamina through Pertamina Patra Niaga sets competitive prices for the community while ensuring distribution to remote areas of the country can still be carried out optimally,” explained Irto.
Meanwhile, the price of Pertalite and BioSolar fuel has not changed or remains the same. In detail, Pertalite remains at IDR 10,000 per liter and BioSolar at IDR 6,800 per liter. It is important to know that the price of Pertamina fuel in each province or region is different because it is influenced by various factors. One of them is distribution costs.
