Union of Prosecutors of Greece / Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Achilleas Zisis new president

The new Board of Directors announced the Association of Prosecutors of Greece (EEE), with his position president to be undertaken by the deputy prosecutor of the Supreme Court Achilles of Life.

After the recent elections, on Friday the supreme prosecutor was chosen by the members of the Board of Directors as the head of the EEE. Vice Presidents the former president of the EEE was elected Evangelos Bakelas and the District Attorney John Sevis.

During its first meeting, the new Board of Directors of the Association of Prosecutors of Greece elected it bureau and was assembled in a body as follows:

Chairman: Achilleas Zisis, Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court

First Vice President: Evangelos Bakelas, Prosecutor of Appeals

B Vice President: Ioannis Sevis, First Instance Prosecutor

General secretary: Kyriaki Kliaba, Deputy Prosecutor for Appeals

Deputy Secretary General: Theologian Delliveis-Domenikos, Prosecuting Attorney of First Instance

Treasurer: Nikolaos Kypritidis, Deputy Prosecutor of First Instance

Members: Antonios Kasapis, First Instance Prosecutor, Sofia Diploidou, First Instance Prosecutor, Dimitrios Pavlidis, Deputy First Instance Prosecutor.

The Board of Directors expressed its warm thanks to everyone for the wide participation at elections for the nomination of the new Board of Directors of 11/25-2-2024, which “proves, in practice, the unity and solidarity of the members of the Union”.

“The members of the Board of Directors of the Union, for their part, feeling the responsibility that their election implies, intend to undertake every initiativeto direction:

• Strengthening and defending the judicial and institutional role of the Prosecutor in modern society,
• Scientific and qualitative upgrading of the work and the offer of the Prosecutor in the administration of Justice,
• Optimum promotion and assertion of the requests of the Prosecutor’s Office within the framework of the requirements of the Constitution,
• Rallying the members and their participation in the activities of the Union,
• Upgrading the building and logistical infrastructure of the Prosecutor’s Offices and the filling of the vacant organizational positions of judicial officers”.
