Presidents of Finland and Ukraine Alexander Stubb and Vladimir Zelensky signed an agreement on cooperation and long-term support in the field of security between the two countries in Kyiv on April 3. This is reported by Deutsche Welle.

Under the 10-year agreement, Finland is ready to provide the necessary support to Ukraine in various fields, including politics, defense and security, reform and reconstruction of the country.

According to the document, Finland will continue to provide military, political, financial and humanitarian support to Ukraine in the same dynamic.

Alexander Stub also informed Volodymyr Zelenskiy that Finland will supply Ukraine with another package of weapons worth 188 million euros. Thus, from 2022, the total amount of aid provided by Helsinki to Kyiv will reach 2 billion euros.

Recently, Finland contributed 30 million euros to the Czech initiative for the joint procurement of artillery ammunition for Ukraine. During this year, the Finns have already provided more than 400 million euros of support to the Ukrainians and intend to increase it by at least two more packages.
