Trailer of Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur’s ‘Family Star’ out

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [भारत], March 28 (ANI): The makers of the upcoming film ‘Family Star’ starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur released its trailer on Thursday. Vijay and the rest of the crew members have shared the trailer of this romantic comedy on their social media. Vijay shared the trailer of the film on X on Thursday with the caption, “This summer. Celebrate, laugh, be happy, relive and have a great time in theaters in just one week.”

The trailer starts with Vijay praying to God, hoping that there is no loss and only gain in his life. Mrinal turns out to be their neighbour, close to their family, which irritates them. While he develops feelings for her at first, the story shifts to America, where he works under her. However, tension arises when Mrunal feels that she is creating problems in his life, due to which he angrily slaps her, as shown in the trailer.

Directed by Parasuram Petla, ‘Family Star’ marks the first collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur. Supported by a cast including Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi and Ravi Babu, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a special appearance. Produced by Dil Raju, this multilingual release (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi) is all set to release in theaters on April 5, 2024. (ANI)
