Torreón will escalate demand for CFE to resolve failures due to power outages

The Municipality of Torreón will escalate its level of demand and will lead a collective and institutional claim, so that the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) fundamentally resolves the failures in the energy supply, which, according to the mayor, Román Alberto Cepeda, are not They can continue to be overlooked due to all the effects they generate.

“It is not only the wells that are left out of service, it is also all the household appliances of the families that are injured by the comings and goings of energy that are representing significant property damage,” he said, after the night of Wednesday and early Thursday morning, some 24 wells and a Simas storage tank were out of service due to lack of electricity.

He indicated that as a municipal authority, there has been a good relationship with the directors of the CFE, but the situation is no longer one of good will, but rather that effective solutions are provided, since collaboration has been shown with this and other areas dependent on the Government. federal, but everything has a limit.

“We are going to make a collective and institutional claim, go to Mexico (to the central offices), whatever we have to do; “It is not a particular issue for anyone, but a problem that affects all citizens,” highlighted the mayor, after pointing out that in all the neighborhoods where he has been and where he lives there are frequent power outages.

He said that some time ago the CFE announced the construction of three new substations in this city, whose projects were stopped for unknown reasons.
