AFP Travelers stranded at St Pancras station in London

Eurostar trains between London and Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam will resume normal timetables tomorrow. The railway company announced this in a press release. Today all trains were canceled due to the flooding of the London Underground Tunnel under the Thames.
A total of 41 trips were cancelled, leaving thousands of travelers stranded.
The tunnel near Ebbsfleet International Station is flooded due to bad weather in the UK. The images showed that the runway was completely flooded. The firefighters pumped out the water.
There was chaos at London St Pancras station with travelers stranded and hundreds of people also waiting for news about their train journey at Brussels South station.
Eurostar said it regretted the problems. “We understand that this is a crucial time to return home, at the end of the holiday season and in the run-up to the new year,” a spokesperson said this afternoon.
“Hopefully we will buy our destination,” said one traveler in London:
