The Ministry of Information and Communications requires telecommunications businesses to complete processing of all SIMs that have existing channels, switch back to SIMs without subscription information (with or without packages), and ensure that SIM subscriptions are accurate and in accordance with regulations. , which coincides with the national population database, can only be activated and developed by the network operators themselves.
The Minister requires telecommunications businesses that before March 22, 2024, SIMs that are 2-way locked, have subscription information, and have packages must change their status to SIMs without subscription information. Before April 15, 2024, SIMs that are one-way locked and have signs of activation must change their status to SIMs without subscription information; After processing the subscription file, one document bears the name of multiple SIMs (from 4 SIMs/1 document or more).
After April 15, 2024, mobile telecommunications businesses will take full responsibility if there are new SIMs developed in the market that do not comply with regulations.

Proposing to sanction Viettel, FPT, CMC for violations of spam calls
