News from Angola – Increasingly closer to Angolan youth, the Tigra Nova Garra Awards have already prepared the third edition, the grand gala of which should take place at the beginning of June.
During the three days of the “HanormalXChange” initiative, a project that Tigra sponsors, the awards jury team will receive and interview young candidates who stand out during the pre-selection process.
In order not to miss the opportunity to be the winners of the Tigra Nova Garra 2023 Awards, interested young people should pay attention to the social networks of the judges in each of the categories, and to the Tigra page, where a link with a form will be made available online pre-registration, in the week before the “HanormalXchange” event.
Once the analysis of the applications has been completed, the selected young people will then be called to present their projects directly to the judges. The interviews will take place during “HanormalXchange”, at Belas Shopping, in Talatona.
The big news this year is the inclusion of the Education category, alongside those already awarded previously: Environment, Health, Science & Technology & Digital World, Sports, Music and Arts.
“The Tigra Nova Garra Awards have gained increasing preponderance, and the young people who have been the winners of previous editions have not only seen their lives transformed with the visibility that the awards bring them, but are an inspiration to so many others young people. We are contacted via social media, by young people who don’t know how to register. In reality there are no registrations, the work of identifying the nominees is exclusive to the panel of judges.
Therefore, we saw in HanormalXchange the opportunity for young people to present their projects in person to the judges, as a way of creating greater interaction between the candidates and the world of the Tigra Nova Garra Awards”, commented the Category Manager for Alcoholic Beverages at Refriango, Gaspar Cabral, during the presentation of “HanormalXChange”. “I also appeal to everyone to keep an eye on social media and the Tigra page, where additional information on how to participate in this year’s edition will be published,” he said.
As last year, the young people selected for the final phase will be voted on by the public and the judges, in a process that will determine the winner of each category, to be announced at the grand gala of the third edition of the Tigra Nova Garra Awards. Each winner will receive the value of 1 million kwanzas, in addition to individualized advice to develop their projects and training at Tigra Cubs Bootcamps.
