Héctor Vela, Secretary General of the Government, reported that the Ministry of the Interior authorized a recurring scheme of federal and state resources in a budget close to 21 million pesos, which will allow the construction of the Center to be completed, which they hope will come into operation at the end of this year.

“This already puts us in an important position in terms of searching for people and especially the possibility of identification in the agreement that we have today with Saltillo (with the Regional Center for Human Identification), we are working very closely, as you They also knew, recently exhumations were carried out and there they are also already at this moment in the DNA matching to find people, a very delicate topic and a very sensitive topic, but also very important because the relatives want to find their victims”, the state official said.

The Temporary Shelter Center is built on the Durango-Mezquital highway at kilometer 32.4, which will have spaces for 300 niches.

“We aspire to have a Center like the one in Saltillo, but the first thing is to have our temporary shelter Center, and I believe that this Government has made a lot of progress in a year and a half, with respect to what had been done previously in the recognition that we have. with the families, who for some reason have their relatives in this search scheme,” commented the Secretary General of the Government.
