RIYADH – Iran has launched large-scale drone and missile attacks on Israel on Saturday night or early Sunday morning, which was the country’s first direct military attack on Jewish state territory.
The attack, which was a response to Israel’s attack on Iran’s consulate building in Syria, has received a wide response from the Arab region.
According to the Zionist military, around 170 drones, 30 cruise missiles and 120 Iranian ballistic missiles were fired towards Israel, some of which hit Zionist air bases.
Arab society was divided in response to Iran’s attack on Israel, and many took to social media platforms to share their views with Arabic hashtags for “Iran” and “World War III” trending widely.
