Juan Adolfo von Bertrab Saracho, director of Public Works in the Municipality of Torreón, called on drivers to carry out the correct transfer of their cargo, as he warned that this constitutes a violation of the regulations and may be grounds for a financial penalty.

The official mentioned that gravel, dirt and debris residues are frequently reported by citizens and imply a latent risk for drivers, as they are forced to make various maneuvers to avoid them or may even skid with the debris scattered on the roads.

He pointed out that municipal regulations indicate that this type of cargo must be covered with a tarp; In some cases it consists of gravel or confitillo, which with the natural movement of the vehicle spreads over the roads.
