They reject and demand justice for the murder of a young person with disabilities

The inhabitants of the town of Aguas Blancas, jurisdiction of the municipality of San Martín, south of Cesar, held a peaceful march demanding justice for the murder of Rosalba Urbina Moreno, 18 years old.

This young woman, who was known as ‘Chana’, had a cognitive disability and difficulty speaking. Her body was found in a hilly area near the railway line; she had stab wounds and multiple blows.

So far the authorities have not reported a formal arrest of the person or persons responsible for the crime. According to the township inspector, Elizabeth Quintero Lindarte; There is a person suspected of the case, who was transferred to the municipal Police station because the community wanted to take justice into their own hands.

‘Chana’, had the affection of the entire community, lived in a humble home in the La Unión neighborhood, with her grandmother and two cousins. The last time they saw her alive was on Sunday night when she went out as usual to recycle beer cans.
