To the deaths in the Strip we must add the more than 90 deaths registered in the West Bank.

In addition, the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) has reported that four other Palestinians were injured and 20 were detained during the raid.

According to Wafa, the deceased young people were hit by Army shots after having thrown stones at the troops who were operating in the field.

The front in southern Lebanon worsens

On the Israeli side, the number of displaced people rose to more than 120,000 this Sunday, after the evacuation of new towns on the border with Lebanon due to the intensification of exchanges of fire in the area, which is experiencing its moment of greatest tension since 2006. in parallel to the war with Hamas in Gaza.

A military spokesman reported that during the night, “the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked a Hezbollah terrorist cell in Lebanese territory, along with an anti-tank missile launch site.”

The “terrorist cell” planned to launch an anti-tank missile toward the Israeli city of Shlomi, one of more than forty communities in northern Israel that have been evacuated for safety.

In addition, hours before, the Army reported that it had attacked a military complex and an observation post of the Shiite guerrilla and that a plane dismantled another “terrorist cell” that was operating armed near the border.

This escalation of tension on the border has already caused at least 47 deaths: 6 in Israel – 5 soldiers and a civilian – and 41 in Lebanon, among them a cameraman from the Reuters agency.

The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, yesterday visited the troops on the northern front where they are allocating more and more forces, and warned Hezbollah that if it enters the war “it will make the worst mistake of its life” and “will miss” the 2006 conflict.

A third convoy of 20 trucks enters Gaza

A third humanitarian aid convoy made up of twenty trucks entered today from the Egyptian Rafah crossing towards the Gaza Strip, after passing through another border post controlled by Israel to inspect the shipment.

According to an Egyptian security source, the trucks – carrying medicine, medical supplies and baby formula – have been diverted to the Israeli-controlled Al Awja crossing for inspection before being let into Gaza.

This is the third convoy with humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip through Egypt, besieged by Israel in punishment for the attack by the Islamist group Hamas on October 7.

With today’s trucks, there are already 54 that have entered since last Saturday.

Last night, US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed that “there will be a continued flow of assistance” to Gaza, during a telephone conversation.

On the other hand, the Israeli Army has acknowledged that yesterday it “mistakenly” fired on an Egyptian military post in the border area, in an incident that caused minor injuries to some border guards. With EFE
