They invest 7.2 million pesos in the remodeling of offices in Ciudad Industrial de Torreón

The remodeling work of the offices of the Industrial City of Torreón (CIT) began yesterday Monday, where 7.2 million pesos are invested.

Santiago Vera González, president of the CIT, pointed out that the aim is to expand the services currently provided to companies, so that they have greater preparation regarding nearshoring.

He explained that the construction of the work in the offices would require an investment of 4.1 million pesos, there will be a parking lot (955 thousand pesos), air conditioning (487 thousand), as well as the equipment (1.7 million).

Vera González said that the same facilities will be used, so there will be two modular training rooms for 50 people, a meeting room for 18 people, an executive room for 8 people, a small bar, new bathroom facilities, Parking will be for 30 vehicles and a terrace is also planned.

“All this is in order to facilitate the holding of business meetings, meetings between our companies, with collaborators, board meetings, training, massive seminars, activities that allow us to have a greater impact within our same industrial zone,” he commented.

He pointed out that large investments are planned and the companies themselves have begun to grow, but the facilities had been maintained for the last 30 years, so a renovation was urgently needed.

“We are going to change the rooms and equipment but also the drainage, the electrical installation, projectors, everything that is needed for top-level meetings to take place here,” he explained. He indicated that priority will be given to the 92 members of the Industrial City of Torreón, but it will also be open to the public, so other companies could also rent the offices to have their work sessions, if they wish.

Present at the start of the work were the members of the board of directors of the Industrial City of Torreón, the mayor Román Alberto Cepeda, the director of Economic Development, Jorge Willy, as well as the first councilor Luis Jorge Cuerda.

The businessmen had a prior working meeting with the municipal president, to whom they explained the needs and problems of the sector.
