Kim Sol Hwa, a researcher at the Institute of Japanese Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, said that the era when the United States was the only superpower in the world is gone forever, and now Washington is a “toothless monster.”
Publika.az reports, his article published by the Korean Central News Agency states: “To preserve its ever-diminishing hegemony in the structure of the Second Cold War, the United States is now frantically pursuing a tripartite military alliance with Japan and its proxies.”
Kim Sol Hwa compared attempts to form alliances with “key allies” to “a drowning man grasping at a straw.”
“Gone are the days when the United States claimed to be the world’s sole superpower,” he wrote, noting that “there is nothing more stupid than trying to create security guarantees based on a toothless monster.”
Earlier, US President Joe Biden called his country the most important country in the world.
“We are the most important country. That is right. What if the US withdraws? What will happen in the Middle East? How about the Taiwan Strait? What will happen in Asia?
