Then Quang and Bich discussed taking Q.’s body back to Hue and giving it to Mr. N’s family. After reaching agreement, Bich drove Quang and Q.’s body to Hue and handed it over to Mr. N’s family. However, he was afraid of the long distance. , the smelly decomposed body would be discovered by others, the two discussed burning Quan’s body and then bringing the ashes back to his family.
Quang determined that the place where he would burn Quan’s body was in his garden in Hoa Phu commune, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak.
On the way, Quang told Bich to stop at a number of places to buy coal, gasoline/oil cans, gasoline/oil, and iron buckets to burn Q’s body. Around 1:00 p.m. on March 25, 2022, Quang and Bich drove the car to take NLMQ’s body to Quang’s garden in Hoa Phu commune, choosing a location in the shallow ravine area at the bottom and about 40 – 50 meters from the garden gate as the place to burn Q’s body.
Here, Bich placed Q.’s body in the trough of the tortoise cart and then went up to the car to wait. Quang stayed behind to pile coal and used gasoline/oil to burn Q.’s body. At around 7:00 p.m. the same day, when he saw Q.’s body turned into coal and ash, Quang called Bich down and told Bich to get water from a nearby drum for Quang to use. Pour into the turtle trough to turn off the coal fire and cool quickly.
After that, Quang used a bowl to scoop up all of Q.’s ashes from the tortoise trough and pour them into an iron bucket. Quang told Bich to carry the iron bucket containing Q.’s ashes to the car and then Bich drove Quang to Khanh Hoa and then to Hue.
On the morning of March 27, 2022, in Hue City, Quang and Bich went to buy a ceramic jar and then took Q.’s ashes from an iron bucket and put them in the ceramic jar. After that, Quang arranged to meet Mr. N. at a coffee shop in Hue City. When he met Quang, he informed Mr. N. of the whole incident, then Bich brought the ceramic jar containing Q.’s ashes and gave it to Mr. N.
Thinking that Quang had abused his child, Mr. N. filed a report with the Hue City Police and was instructed to send the petition to the Lam Dong Provincial Police. At the Lam Dong Provincial Police Investigation Agency, Quang and Bich admitted their crimes as above.
