Recently, the pressure of buyers and visitors has increased in the 28th edition of the Dhaka International Trade Fair. Like other times, this time too, many domestic and foreign stalls-pavilions have been decorated with various products. Products that have various discounts. Meanwhile, the buyers and visitors coming to the fair are more crowded in the Turkish pavilion. But this pavilion saw more visitors than buyers.

On Sunday (February 18) afternoon, such a picture can be observed on the ground at the Turkish Pavilion of the Dhaka International Trade Fair.

It is known that on the occasion of the fair, the various products of the Turkish pavilion are being discounted up to 30 percent. Among these, wall hangings are discounted from Tk 300 to Tk 6,500, ceramic products from Tk 500 to Tk 9 thousand, chandeliers from Tk 2,500 to Tk 2 lakh, copper products from Tk 700 to Tk 4,500, leather bags from Tk 500 to Tk 6. 1000 500 taka, crystal glass serving ball from 2000 taka to 8000 taka, Turkish melamine products are being sold from 400 taka to 2 thousand 500 taka.

Riazul Hasan came to the fair from Sonargaon with his wife. When we spoke to him, he said that it is completely different compared to other pavilions. The chandeliers here are very beautiful. My wife liked a few. But because the price is high, I bought one.

Another visitor named Shravan Munshi said that the price of every product here is high. But it looks very interesting. I can’t afford to buy, so I’m going to take a picture and leave.

Pavilion in-charge Nasir Hussain said that every product in our pavilion is from Turkey. So the price is a bit high. But we are giving more or less discounts on every product on the occasion of the fair. Hope to get good response from customers till the last day.

In addition to domestic products, various countries including India, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore have participated in this year’s trade fair. Textiles, machinery, carpets, cosmetics and beauty aids, electrical and electronics, furniture, jute and jute products, household goods, leather/artificial leather and leather goods including shoes, sports goods, sanitary ware, toys, stationery, crockery, plastic, Melamine polymer, herbal and toiletries, imitation jewellery, processed food, fast food, handicrafts, home decor etc. products are being displayed at the fair. Apart from showcasing the products, the aim is to find a bigger market for the export of domestic products.
