Jaminur Rahman, in-charge of Chuadanga Meteorological Office, said that in the afternoon, the highest temperature recorded in the district was 40.3 degrees Celsius. Air humidity is 32 percent. However, there is a possibility of rain in the district tomorrow, May 6.
He also said that the temperature in Chuadanga was above 41-43 degree Celsius for 10 consecutive days. The temperature drops by 2.7 degrees Celsius in a day. Chuadanga was burning with intense to very intense heat.
