The project was officially announced at a press conference on Saturday (March 9). Its tagline — ‘Drama on OTT, Drama on Channel I, Watch Drama, Stay with Drama Workers, Drama Speaks Truth’. Its head, actor Shahidul Alam Sacchu and Channel Eye’s Additional ED Amirul Islam gave details about the project at the event.
Channel Eye managing director Faridur Reza Sagar, one of the pioneers of Bangladesh stage movement, playwright, director and Ekushey medalist actor Mamunur Rashid, Ekushey medalist actress Lucky Inam, project director of Eyescreen Riaz Ahmed were also present at this time. Besides, many of the new generation theater workers were also present.
About the initiative, Faridur Reza Sagar said, ‘Drama is our pride. Our goal is to deliver this play to remote areas of the world.
Theater personality Mamunur Rashid said, ‘We have come to a bad time, the practice of culture has declined. In that case, this initiative will give new encouragement, theater practice will be accelerated.’

Cinematographer Riaz said, ‘Iscreen is going to be joined with stage play, this is a unique addition. When people see some incredibly good actors and actresses through the i-screen platform, then people will understand that acting is not a child’s play. Acting is a great thing, a matter of pursuit and sacrifice.’
