According to Mr. Nguyen Cong Bang, Head of Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station, the bird just received is an Indian giant, scientific name Pava Cristatus, an endangered species.

“The Indian Confucius usually has bright colors, but this one has white feathers because it was born through selective breeding by mutation. This bird is an exotic species, not distributed in Vietnam.
