The Princess of Wales has apologized for the “confusion” caused by the publication of her edited photo. This is reported by the BBC.
Princess Catherine published a photo of herself and her three children on Mother’s Day, which was shared by many media outlets. But later, 5 news agencies, namely PA, Getty Images, AFP, Associated Press and Reuters, removed the photo from their publications, citing that it was edited. The Associated Press noted “the inconsistency of Princess Charlotte’s left hand.”
“Like many amateur photographers, I sometimes like to experiment with editing,” Princess of Wales Catherine of Wales wrote on social media at Kensington Palace. – I would like to apologize for any confusion caused by my family photo shared yesterday. I hope those celebrating the holiday had a good Mother’s Day.”
It was the first time Princess Catherine had released an official photo since undergoing abdominal surgery two months ago.
