It was reported that the current situation and policy directions in the field of macroeconomic and financial stability, including the main directions of monetary policy, the development of the banking and insurance sector, the production of agricultural products, food security, land efficiency, were included in the agenda of the meeting, which was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Ali Asadov. the current state of utilization and agricultural exports, challenges and goals for 2024-2030, work to be done regarding Islamic finance (banking), the implementation of the Artificial Intelligence-based Automated Risk Analysis System on the Customs Clearance Platform, and other current issues were widely discussed.
At the meeting, the reports of the Chairman of the Central Bank Taleh Kazimov, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Shahin Bagirov and Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli were heard.
At the end of the meeting, taking into account the opinions and suggestions of the members of the Economic Council, decisions were made on the discussed issues and relevant tasks were given to the relevant institutions.
