Frogs have been married in a multi-crore cabin in Netrakona hoping for rain. The marriage was completed at Bansati Khansab Baganbari Community Center of Atpara Upazila on Friday (May 3) evening.
MR Khan Mamun who works in Bangladesh Cricket Board organized the wedding. He confirmed it.
The organizers arranged the frog wedding just like the arrangement of the human wedding. There was a system of entertaining the guests. Many gathered to see this exceptional wedding. After various events throughout the day, in the evening, a mandap of banana trees was arranged and the frog was married.
Regarding this exceptional issue, the organizer MR Khan Mamun said, We have organized this event from the ancient concept. People of earlier days used to believe in such customs.
Tania Nazneen Chowdhury, female vice chairman of Atpara Upazila Parishad, said that a frog wedding was organized at the community center in Bashanti village of Atpara upazila. My uncle-in-law arranged this wedding. Yesterday was the wedding. Today we have come to the bridegroom’s house. It seemed that it was an ancient custom, but a traditional wedding arrangement.
He also said that the marriage was completed in a cabin of crores of rupees by bringing Ghatak. Through this we also got the sight of rain in the sky.
