The Central Election Commission (CEC) together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has prepared a “memory book for police officers”.

It was reported that the program of education of election subjects of various statuses in connection with the extraordinary presidential elections scheduled for February 7, 2024 continues in a consistent and systematic manner. The main goal of the project, implemented within the framework of inter-institutional cooperation, is to further improve the service activity of police officers in the upcoming elections and raise the level of awareness.
In the publication, during the preparation and holding of the presidential elections, during the pre-election campaign stage, on the voting day, and in the process of transporting and protecting official election documents, the actions, as well as the roles and responsibilities, of the police officers will be carried out clearly.
The memory book intended for the use of police officers was compiled on the basis of the Constitution of Azerbaijan, the Election Code, the Law “On Police” and normative documents approved by the Central Election Commission.
