“Globally, there is a 79% increase in new cancer cases in people under 50. This is mainly recorded in North America, Western Europe and Australia,” the magazine said.
At the same time, up to 400,000 people under the age of 19 are diagnosed with cancer every year.
Experts have noted that people’s lifestyles have changed significantly over the past decades. Also, the most popular causes of cancer are smoking, ultraviolet radiation and genetic predisposition.
However, according to scientists, the situation is not so unambiguous. The fact is that in recent years, the methods of diagnosing oncology in the initial stages have improved significantly.
