CARE – INNOVATE – TOGETHER: Since its creation in 2009, ALIMA has treated more than 7 million patients and today operates in 13 countries (12 in Africa and 1 in Europe).
THE ALIMA TEAM: More than 2,000 people currently work for ALIMA. The teams in the field, closest to the patients, receive their support from the coordination teams generally based in the capitals of the countries of intervention. They receive support from the three Desk Teams and the Emergency and Openings Service team based at the operational headquarters in Dakar, Senegal. Teams in Paris, New York and London are actively working on fundraising and representation for ALIMA. The rest of the ALIMA ecosystem includes individuals and partner teams working on behalf of other organizations such as the medical NGOs BEFEN (Niger), Alerte Santé (Chad), SOS Médecins and KEOOGO (Cameroon), AMCP-SP (Mali), the research organizations PAC-CI, Inserm, the Universities of Bordeaux or Copenhagen, the NGO Solidarités International and many others.

MAIN MISSION
The Donor Relations Assistant supports the Donor Relations Manager in building and improving the relationship between ALIMA and its donors. He/she is responsible for providing personalized responses to the various questions and requests of our donors via email, post or telephone, with the aim of retaining them. You carry out your duties under the responsibility and supervision of the Donor Relations Officer in Dakar.
Main objectives of the position:

Management of relationships with donors: thank you letters and emails; sending tax receipts, managing reimbursements related to accounting.

Regular update of the ALIMA donor database

Support smooth administrative functioning between the Dakar and Paris offices.
MAIN TASKS:
Monitoring and updating of the CRM database

Manual entry of all changes to the database

Changes to contact cards (address, NPAI, tel, email and stops) and direct debit (stop, RIB, amount, frequency).

Sending notification letters to new regular donors

Writing and processing letters
