Guinea: The incredible story of an old woman transformed into a “lioness” during an attack
It’s a hard story to believe. According to several Guinean media, a 60-year-old woman transformed herself into a lioness to defend herself from bandits who attempted to attack her. The events allegedly occurred last Saturday, January 20th in Bouré Sétiguiya, a district of the subprefecture of Kintinia, 35 kilometers from Siguiri (a city in the north-east of Guinea).
“So I turned into a lioness to defend myself”
Ténin Camara was returning from the fields when she was attacked by bandits. According to her testimony collected by “Médiaguinée”, she tried to know the names of the biggest fortune and the biggest gold trader in Bouré Sétiguiya.
“I told them I didn’t know anyone. Suddenly one of them pointed his homemade rifle at me, but the weapon no longer worked. They got off the bike and jumped on me. That’s how I transformed myself into a lioness to defend myself. I bit one of the attackers in the private parts and on the back. I wanted to bite him on the neck when I heard my classmates’ voices. I returned to my human form,” she said.

The criminals then fled. The witnesses who witnessed the scene also confirmed the metamorphosis of the elderly lady. She explained that this donation is a family heirloom.
