Palestine’s GDP in September was $20 billion. In one month it has decreased to 19 billion. Whereas Israel’s GDP is around $500 billion. If the ongoing Israeli aggression continues, Palestinian GDP will decrease by 8.4 percent after two months. In this, more than 4 lakh people can fall below the poverty line. This information has emerged in the United Nations report. That is, the country is in danger of losing 1.7 billion dollars in two months. If this violence continues in December, the GDP of Palestine will fall below 18 billion. And more than six and a half lakh people will fall below the poverty line.
The report says 24 percent of people in the West Bank have lost their jobs. In short, the economy of Palestine is collapsing. If this situation continues, a big disaster will come. So says the UN report.
1.5 million people have been displaced in Gaza since the violence began. More than 12,000 Palestinians have died in Israeli aggression.
