The death toll from the Israeli rampage in Gaza has exceeded 29,500. Besides, another 69 thousand 616 people were injured. Gaza’s Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health confirmed the information. Meanwhile, it was reported that at least 40 people were killed in an attack by Israeli forces on a residential building in central Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, over 100 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in the last 24 hours. Since the start of the conflict between Hamas and Israel on October 7, 29,514 people have lost their lives in Gaza. Most of them are women and children.

At least six people were killed in an airstrike on a house in the southern Gaza city of Rafah. Besides, several others were injured. The Palestinian news agency Wafa news agency reported that the attack was carried out in the Jalata area east of Rafah city. The injured have been transferred to Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar Hospital.

WAFA also reported that Israeli forces bombed a house in the Yabna camp in central Rafah. However, there were no casualties.

Meanwhile, a 17-year-old boy died after being injured in an Israeli airstrike on a car in the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.

Earlier, shots were fired at vehicles near Israeli checkpoints in occupied East Jerusalem. Three people were killed and eight people were injured.

Elin Bin, the head of Israel’s Ambulance Service, said two of the injured in the Thursday (February 22) attack were in critical condition.

Israeli police said the attackers took advantage of slow traffic on the central highway near East Jerusalem in the West Bank.

A spokesman said the attackers were Palestinians, without elaborating. However, two gunmen were also killed in the counter attack. The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has commented that Gaza has now become a well of death. He also said that humanitarian activities have completely collapsed there.

On the other hand, Lebanon’s Islamic resistance movement Hezbollah has attacked Israel in various places. Hezbollah said in a statement about the military operation that they attacked several bases in Israel. Two Israeli military buildings were attacked in the towns of Metula and Manara, east of the Lebanon-Israel border.
