It is written in it, on April 19, the first phase of voting was held in West Tripura parliamentary constituency. In this, some questions were raised regarding the vote percentage at four polling stations. After investigation, it has been found that there was no irregularity in the voting process. In the report of election officials of four polling stations, it was said that this situation has arisen due to Election Duty Certificate (EDC) votes being cast at these polling stations. These polling stations are near the ARO headquarters or strong room. Apart from this, many policemen are deployed in the surrounding areas. On the day of voting, these people had voted at the polling stations with the Election Duty Certificate. The total number of voters is taken into account in the Encore application. EDC is not added to it. However, EDC votes are added to the total votes cast, hence the percentage of total votes cast became higher.

– Regarding Part No. 44 of 10-Majlishpur Assembly of West Tripura PC, it was told that the total registered voters in the polling station there were 545. Of these, 498 cast their votes, which is 91.37% of the scheduled voters. Apart from this, 68 voters cast their vote here through EDC. As a result the total votes became 566 and the percentage became 103.85%. 10/44- Birendranagar HS School is closest to ARO Headquarters.

– In the case of 5-Khayerpur Assembly Part No. 44 of West Tripura PC, the Returning Officer informed that the total voters at the concerned polling station were 1290 and 1053 cast their votes. Apart from this, seven voters belonging to other assembly constituencies cast their votes. As a result, total votes cast including EDC became 1060 i.e. 82.17%.

– Regarding 5-Khayerpur Assembly Part No. 25 of West Tripura PC, the Returning Officer informed that the total voters at the concerned polling station were 840 and 734 cast their votes. Here five voters belonging to other assembly constituencies cast their votes through EDC. As a result the total votes became 739 i.e. 87.97%.

– In respect of West Tripura PC 2- Mohanpur Assembly Part No. 38, the Returning Officer informed that the polling station is 2/38 (Fakiramura JB School, South Wing). There, all the reserved polling personnel including the staff and AROs deployed in the strong room cast their votes through EDC. Due to this the voting percentage increased to 108.84%. The total voters here were 452 and 429 voted. Apart from this, 63 voters cast their votes from EDC. With this the total votes became 492.
