Like Dan Tri on July 14, 2023, Ms. Quynh and her husband went to store C. (in An Binh ward, Buon Ho town) to buy goods.

Here, she was guided by a female store employee into the elevator to go to the 2nd floor to see the goods. While the elevator was moving, it suddenly fell freely with great force, injuring Ms. Quynh and the female employee and had to be hospitalized.

At the Central Highlands General Hospital, Ms. Quynh was diagnosed with paralysis of both legs and required emergency surgery. The hospital’s medical records show that Ms. Quynh was paralyzed, lost feeling in her legs from the knee down, had a collapsed L1 vertebrae, and had her vertebrae splinted.

Ms. Quynh informed that during the examination, the doctor discovered that Ms. Quynh was more than 6 weeks pregnant. However, because Ms. Quynh was seriously injured, fell from a height to the ground, and took a lot of antibiotics, her fetus was greatly affected, so she had to have an abortion.

After the accident, Ms. Quynh took care of her injuries and the owner of store C. promised to ensure her rights, so Ms. Quynh’s family did not file a complaint.

However, later, her family realized that store owner C. did not follow through on what was promised in her treatment and damages, so recently, her family sent a complaint to the police. .
