A female teacher at La Pan Tan Ethnic Boarding High School and Secondary School (Yen Bai), has just been temporarily suspended from work to clarify a complaint from a student’s parents about beating a first grade girl with two black eyes.
On the evening of April 21, talking to reporters Dan tri, Mr. Nguyen Anh Thuy, Head of the Education and Training Department of Mu Cang Chai district (Yen Bai), said that after receiving information about the incident of a first-grade girl suspected of having her eyes bruised by a teacher at the Ethnic Minority High School, Boarding School and Secondary School of La Pan Tan, the unit requested the school to suspend the work of Ms. Giang Thi S., a teacher at this school.
“This teacher will be temporarily suspended from work starting tomorrow (April 22). In addition, the suspension allows the authorities to continue to verify and clarify the case,” Mr. Thuy said.

According to Mr. Thuy, the department’s opinion is to clarify responsibilities and strictly discipline individuals involved in the incident.
Through verification, the authorities determined that the student who was beaten was LTL, studying in class 1C at La Pan Tan Ethnic Boarding High School and Secondary School. The teacher suspected of beating the student is Ms. Giang Thi S., the homeroom teacher of L’s class.
The leader of the La Pan Tan Commune Party Committee (Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province) said that through initial examination at the hospital, the girl had soft tissue injuries and is being treated and her health monitored at the hospital. Truong Duc (Nghia Lo town, Yen Bai province).
